Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Just Go Ventures LLC (“SettledUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates settledup.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from both our platform users (“Business Owners”) and their customers (“End Users”) who receive SMS communications through our service.

Information We Collect

From Business Owners:

  • Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration
  • Business name and address
  • Accounts receivable data uploaded or synced to SettledUp including customer names, invoice amounts, due dates, and payment status
  • Google Sheets, Microsoft OneDrive, or QuickBooks OAuth access tokens (read-only) used solely to retrieve invoice data
  • Billing information processed securely through Stripe

From End Users (invoice recipients):

  • Phone numbers provided by Business Owners
  • SMS interaction data including message delivery status and response history

Google API Data

When a Business Owner connects their Google account, SettledUp requests the following OAuth scope:

  • spreadsheets.readonly — read-only access to the specific Google Sheet the user selects, used to retrieve invoice data (customer names, phone numbers, amounts, and due dates)
  • userinfo.email — used to identify and associate the connected Google account with the Business Owner's SettledUp account

We do not read, access, or store any Google Sheets data beyond the spreadsheet explicitly selected by the Business Owner. We do not modify, delete, or write any data to Google Sheets. We do not access any other Google services, Gmail, Google Drive files, or any data outside the scope listed above.

Google user data obtained through these scopes is never used for advertising purposes and is never transferred to third parties except as strictly necessary to provide the SettledUp service (e.g., storing retrieved invoice data in our database to send payment reminders).

SettledUp's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Microsoft OneDrive Data

When a Business Owner connects their Microsoft account, SettledUp requests the following permissions:

  • Files.Read — read-only access used to browse OneDrive folder and file names so the user can select their spreadsheet, and to read the content of the selected worksheet to extract invoice data
  • User.Read — used to identify and associate the connected Microsoft account with the Business Owner's SettledUp account

We do not access, modify, or store any OneDrive files beyond the specific spreadsheet selected by the Business Owner. Microsoft user data is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the SettledUp service.

QuickBooks Data

When a Business Owner connects their QuickBooks account, SettledUp requests read-only access to retrieve invoice and customer data including customer names, phone numbers, invoice amounts, and due dates. We do not access financial account data, banking information, payroll data, or any data beyond what is necessary to identify overdue invoices and send payment reminders.

QuickBooks data is never used for advertising purposes and is never transferred to third parties except as strictly necessary to provide the SettledUp service. Business Owners may revoke QuickBooks access at any time through their account settings.

How We Use Your Information

For Business Owners:

  • To operate and provide the SettledUp platform
  • To send you SMS notifications about your accounts receivable status
  • To analyze platform performance and improve our service
  • To communicate with you about your account

For End Users:

  • To send SMS payment reminders on behalf of the Business Owner
  • To track message delivery and response status

We do not use any data collected through SettledUp — including data obtained via Google, Microsoft, or QuickBooks integrations — for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the SettledUp service as described.

SMS Communications

SettledUp sends SMS messages on behalf of Business Owners to their customers. Business Owners are required to disclose to their customers that payment reminders may be sent via text before adding their phone numbers to SettledUp. End Users can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for support information. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on account activity.

  • Mobile phone numbers collected through SettledUp are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Message frequency for Business Owners varies based on account activity, typically one message per business day.
  • Message frequency for End Users (invoice recipients) varies based on invoice activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP to any message for support contact information.

Mobile Number Policy

SettledUp does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected from Business Owners are used solely to deliver account notifications. Phone numbers provided by Business Owners for their customers are used solely to deliver payment reminders on that Business Owner's behalf and are never used for any other purpose.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use personal information for advertising or marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate SettledUp:

  • Supabase — database storage and authentication
  • Twilio — SMS delivery to Business Owners and their customers
  • Stripe — payment processing and Stripe Connect for Business Owner payouts
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure

Each service provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We also share data as required by law or legal process.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Google Sheets, OneDrive, and QuickBooks connections use read-only OAuth access with tokens stored encrypted at rest. We do not store full spreadsheet data permanently — only the information necessary to identify overdue invoices and deliver reminders. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account cancellation, data is deleted within 30 days upon request.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at travis@settledup.co. You may also revoke any third-party integration access (Google, Microsoft, QuickBooks) at any time through your account settings or directly through that provider's account permissions page.
